I would like to introduce myself

Who I really am

I have never said this in public before, but I want you to know something important about me, John D. Stewart. I am a born-again Christian for the past 50 years. I go to a Baptist church, as often as possible but since I injured my ankle four months ago, I don’t go as often as I would like.  It is too difficult to walk, I use a cane when outside. In my apartment, I rarely use it, simply because I feel safer. I also have neuropathy in my feet for about a year now, it is painful most of the time. Medication has not helped much to keep the pain down. When I try to sleep, the pain is there.  I sleep when I need too and write the blog much of the time.

I know God is with me all the time, even in my pain. He is in my fingers as I praise Him every day for giving me life, a great wife that takes care of me and I job I can enjoy. I was forced to retire many months ago because of the foot problems, which I believe God has called me too. When I can’t get too church because of pain, I have plenty of TV pastors that I really enjoy, Joyce Meyer is one of my favorite and Eagle brook church, where I am a member. I have a wonderful family of committed Christian boys, two out of three are married and two grandchildren.

You can expect to see some fun writing, from my life long experiences, and whenever I can pull it off opinions with commentaries about the political battles in the country, not to mention the culture war. I would appreciate it if anybody who could, would share this with magazine editors and places that hire people like me. I really want to do this for a living.  Most of my life I could not write this because of other jobs.

Now that I am retired, at 68 years old, and cannot work outside my home, I could use encouragement to keep the adventures on my keyboard.com alive and healthy. I know I’m probably not the best writer in the world but the more I write, the better I get.
