God and Adam were talking in the Garden of Eden
Adam said to God. “How come you made Eve so stunning, that smile, that long flowing hair, how she moves.” His eyes blinked in wonder.
God said. “Why Adam that would be, so you would make attention her and would be attracted to her.”
“Oh, I am that, then how come you made her so charming and so much fun to be with and smell so sweet.” Adam responded.
“Very simple my only man” God smiled “you would love her and be devoted to taking care of her.”
“Makes sense to me.” Adam was still puzzled. “Then how come you made her so…. dumb.”
“Oh Adam.” God chuckled. “that is easy, I wanted her to love you too.”
Females are a gift from our Almighty God and they are not dumb. He gave them to us for procreation and as a companion. We do have our differences for sure in thinking and many habits but without females, we are empty and lost.
When I originally played with the idea of writing a romance novel or short story from a mans point of view, it blew me away. I realized I had known probably 34 females in my life at one time or another in my past 60 plus years. Most of them walked away quickly some last a few months, two of them I was married to. But common thread that us together and occasionally drives us apart? Here are the first names of both close friends, actual girlfriends, very dear niece two wives that have touched my life in some way that I have not forgotten them.
The most unusual girlfriend I have ever had, was in Greece while stationed there. I had no intention of being involved with anyone in a different country but it happened. I happened to ask a clerk in a store if she know how I could get a tour guided this anent city of Athens. She said she would do it, I was captivated right away with her stunning blew eyes and short blond hair, very sweet and deeply charming. She did help with a lot walking with me everywhere and having a great time. The second time I asked her out, she said no, she wanted a date instead. A what, I thought? I knew she was engaged to a guy, I was nervous about this idea of dating her. I really liked being with her for sure and told her I had a girlfriend at home. We had several dates and she was a total delight at all times, I met her fiance at one time, he did not look happy. She was not concerned about it. I asked her why she was being so nice to me, she liked Americans and she was glad I asked her to be a friend.
We went to dinner several times, she was joy to be with always, that particular night her parents picked us up and drove thru the red light district of Athens and we holding hands the whole time. She made the remark while going by the blocks of prostitution that if if wanted a girl to love I could come here. I told her I didn’t need that, I had her that she was the good friend I needed, I never kissed her, I didn’t want to get too attached. I took her on tour of the ship I was on, boy did she turn heads and the jealous eyes came out. I spent Thanksgiving that year with her an her family, it was wonderful, She was awesome in so many ways and very unforgettable. She gave a gift at one point in time, a Greek statue of a warrior in a chariot, I kept that a trophy for many years until it literally apart. I had to call before that I was left Athens for good and before I hung up I told her that I loved her and she said the same. We wrote on rare occasions.
